Chloe Stead
Meet Dr. Chloe Stead
Hi, I’m Dr. Chloe Stead. I graduated from the Royal Veterinary College in 2017, and have worked at large, busy first opinion practices in and around the local area since then, gaining skills across the board including in emergencies, dentistry, imaging, surgery and medicine. In 2024, I completed my GPCertExAP – a qualification in exotic medicine and surgery – so I am always pleased to see the more uncommon species, including reptiles, birds, small furries and even fish.
Brett and I have two daughters and a Labrador called Bella. In our spare time you will often find us on the dance floor or off travelling.
We set this practice up to provide an excellent standard of care to the animals of Abbots Langley, Kings Langley and the surrounding areas. We want to build that trusting, personal relationship with you and your pets through staff that are knowledgeable and friendly.

We also offer tailored preventative healthcare, including flea and worming treatments, neutering, and membership plans to keep pets healthy year-round.
Diagnostics & Advanced Treatment
With a fully equipped internal laboratory, we provide same-day blood and urine test results for rapid diagnosis. Our investment in advanced imaging — including digital X-rays (suitable even for exotic species) and portable ultrasound — ensures accurate, efficient assessments. From dental cleanings and extractions to emergency surgery and complex cases, our facilities and expertise mean pets receive comprehensive care under one roof.
